The sun was shining through the window, onto the table where I, my brother and my mum were sitting. We were talking, laughing. It's been long since I've had a relaxed wonderful conversation with my family like that. It's not that we have bad talks, but this made me happy.
My head felt as bright as the light shining in, the laughing was real, the smiling was real. I felt relaxed, I felt good. I put my hands on the back of my head, and leaned back a little.
My mum stopped laughing, looked at me, at my arms.
"You have to stop burning yourself with cigarettes. It's just stupid."
In one second it went black again, my mood turned. I sat there for a few more minutes, before I got up, and walked out.
